Highly informative tour not just limited to park landmarks. Appreciated general park history as well as that of surrounding areas foliage and even park animals. Mr. Hunt has an encyclopedic knowledge and is constantly spewing out park history as well as interesting stories related to the park. Was a bit hesitant booking a walking tour not knowing which provider/vendor to choose. I am so relieved I picked Michael Hunt of Central Park Environs Walking Tours. Michael was a great tour guide—funny, personable, and knowledgeable. I truly enjoyed every minute of this tour. We were blessed with perfect weather, too! My husband picked out this tour, and I was not sure I’d like it—it’s a park, right?—but Michael really brought it to life with the history and backstories. Highly recommend.
