Dive Oahu is arguably one of the largest dive operations on Oahu with reliable rental gear in great condition, a large stable 46' Newton Dive Boat, and a steady supply of instructors and crew. They are mindful about ratios, never over crowd individual teams of divers, and you always have a guide. The operation is consistent and I will dive with them again and again. From the perspective of a seasoned diver, if you want a crew that is on time, switches your tanks, always offers a helping hand, offers the best rental gear, best boat, and most consistent schedule, then you will not be disappointed with Dive Oahu. One area for improvement below, and the only reason I didn't give a 5th star. I've dove nearly a dozen times with Dive Oahu now. It's a large operation, with a large logistical tail, and it seems to lose some of the dive family feel. Some of the instructors and guides will make your day amazing, while some seem too new/disorganized or clock driven, which then purveys in their customer interactions. If someone wants a dive family feel, it's 50/50 chance depending on the crew that day. Dive Oahu is always professional, just sometimes a little too business-time in a leisure activity. Recommendation: Push back your 1030 boat to 1100 or 1130. Pad the hour between dives so your crew can breath between boats and not be so driven on the first morning dives to meet the clock that the customer service is second to the schedule. May also allow for more flexibility with your wreck sites on the regular wreck/reef bookings. Second recommendation, for this same item, appoint a lead instructor/crew for the boat, who arrives 30 minutes early and has the pulse on logistics. Not the captain, as she or he needs to tend to the boat's needs, not the customers' necessarily. On several of the dives, while instructors and guides were sorting out who was taking who, or whose gear was going where, the customers were left sitting on the dock waiting, when they could have been knocking out waivers or rental gear. Occasionally, it doesn't appear that any one member of the crew is in charge other than the captain, who seems to fill in the gaps when instructors are task loaded on deck. It really shows when the boat departs late and then the crew is stressed to get back in time for the second load. Seen tempers flare a few times and bottom times cut short. The second boat has an entirely more relaxed atmosphere, which I attribute to the clock not being such a factor. Love your operation and I will certainly be back again!

Professional and safe dive tour with Chris and captain Jo. It was my 5th time diving and Chris made me feel very comfortable diving the shipwreck. Saw turtles, sharks, eels and lots of fish. Clean boat with food/drinks/hotel pick up & drop off included. Highlight of my trip to Hawaii!! Heaps of fun - would recommend!
