From water views of the Battery mansions, to bobbing beneath the Ravenel bridge, to idling in the shadow of an aircraft carrier that once retrieved an Apollo spacecraft, the 3-4 minute tour stops are interesting, informative, and provide a nice respite from the sprints in between. But it's the "go"s between the stops that are the real highlight of this tour. As you transition between stations, boaters are given free rein (and helpful navigational advice) to get all they can out of the most maneuverable boats on the water. Experienced boaters will love darting around in Charleston Harbor, while the more uninitiated (like myself) will benefit from the hands-on attention of the guides. This was only my third time behind the wheel of a boat in my life, but I never felt out of my depth as our guide was great with step-by-step instruction and advice. (As a "beginner," the smooth run up the Ashley River with backyard glimpses of The Citadel was a high point.) You'll get wetter than you think, so come prepared. But that's all part of the experience. In the words of our guide: "this ain't a pontoon tour...this is speedboating, baby!"

Hey Buck, thanks so much for the very eloquent review. I know that you were a little bit nervous due to your lack of boating experience, but I am thrilled you learned a new skill and had so much fun. I hope you can come back soon for another speedboat adventure!

A fun and informative adventure around the Charleston Harbor! We had the best time speeding around seeing the beautiful sights of Charleston. Our guide was funny and gave us an insightful history lesson of Charleston.

We had the best time touring the Charleston Harbor and local attractions via water. Boats were very smooth and my father in law had never driven a boat before Within a few minutes he was having the time of his life. Our two kids loved the tour and want to go back. Absolute blast!
