Overview

Your pirate guide will lead the group on a 2.5-hour walking tour through historic downtown Charleston. You will begin and end at a bar, each housed in historic buildings with their own unique ghosts and stories. Guests will have time to enjoy a delicious libation as the guide tells them all about the fascinating history of Charleston and some of its most famous and creepy haunted stories!

Jo was an explosive storyteller who made the spirits come alive. The stories were spooky and informative. Solid bar scene as well. Definitely a must do in Charleston!

We had a fantastic time on the Boos and Booze Tour with Gracie as our guide! She was an excellent story-teller, very entertaining, highly knowledgeable and kept the evening both historical and fun. Our downtown hotel was even included in the tour as one of the haunted locales so it was fascinating to learn a little history about where we stayed. Gracie did a great job of wrangling our group to keep the night moving and our group together. She was also dressed as a pirate and created a bit of whimsy and authenticity to the night. Her outfit was a hit at every bar we visited! We've done similar tours in other cities and this was the best yet - very substantive in terms of what we learned, experienced and also excellent bar choices! I highly recommend and would definitely take part of other tours offered when we return to Charleston.

Awesome tour…Jo was fantastic! Entertaining and knowledgeable…nice combination of drinks and stories…the time flew by. 10/10 - highly recommend!!!
