Funny Bus

The Funny Bus Charlotte Comedy City Tour departs at 1st Ward Park (301 E 7th St), by the Light Rail tracks. You can bring your own beer or wine, and there’s a quick break at a local bodega for more beverages or to use the restroom. Your tour guide is a local comedian and puts a comedic spin on the sights, sounds, and history as we explore all four wards of the Queen City and some of the cool-hip neighborhoods surrounding the city (South-End, NoDa, Plaza Midwood, Plaza Hills, and Historic Fourth Ward.) Please note: Due to the mature nature of the jokes on the bus, this tour is intended for adults only. Those under 16 are prohibited, and no babies or small children are allowed on the bus. If tickets are purchased for children, they will not be allowed to board, and no refund will be issued.

A fun way to learn mostly factual about Charlotte. If adult language is an issue, you might want to reconsider. It didn't bother us - and there's not an excessive amount - but it's definitely geared to an adult audience. Language aside, they make it a lot of fun, and it even includes a brief stop at a brewery near the end.

This tour was fun, fun fun. A good way to see and learn about Charlotte, and it's social history. Not good for kids or church groups, or the squeemish.
