My husband and I have been here for 4 weeks and havenā€™t had a chance to do anything and we chose to do tour and got Lane as a guide he was absolutely amazing. The time he took and the knowledge was so cool.

I have to be honest and say that I was worried that I would fall off but the idea of the Segway tour was appealing to us. Rod our tour guide was amazing. He took the time to show each of us on the tour how to operate the Segway's and spent time with us ensuring that we were capable of riding them before we left. We then took off for the tour around the city. Rod was very knowledgeable about Charlotte. He stopped at many sites and gave us really interesting historical information. An absolute blast and great experience.

I booked this tour as part of a weekend celebration for my husband's 57th birthday. We live in the Charlotte area and enjoy learning more about our region, so this was a great addition to our mini staycation for his birthday (thanks covid). Rod was a wonderful guide and instructor. We are a couple of overweight, middle-aged folks who had never ridden a Segway. Rod was absolutely confident in our skills after the mandatory Segway lesson/tutorial, which gave us confidence in ourselves. I appreciated the safe practice before we hit the streets for the tour. Overall, the tour was interesting and informative. The history lesson gave me a few new insights and ideas for future excursions to learn more. By far, the star of the show was the fun Segway ride. It was as easy as Rod promised and much more fun than any of us expected (we went with two friends as well). Thanks, Rod, for making these oldish folks feel capable and competent. We enjoyed the tour and the ride! Can't wait to do the haunted ghost tour this fall!
