We went as a group of 4, each of us only doing an escape room a few times, and the whole experience was a great challenge! Just when you thought it was done, new twists and turns came up. Great time had by all!

We chose Vaccine: Search for the Cure Escape Experience by reading reviews. READ the reviews before you do this escape experience. Several of the rooms need at least 6 people and the percentage of successful escape is very low. Vaccine was interesting and definitely a mind bender. It's had a lot of hard wear and tear and some of the props really need to be replaced. If you are claustrophobic or are squeamish about Halloween-type severed arms, legs, zombies and bodies--you will want to avoid this one. There is a very small tunnel that takes you from one room to the next that is very dark. It will be traumatic for the claustrophobic. In our opinion and experience, this was an "okay" escape room, but there were too many confusing distractions that made finding the clues hard (i.e. think math story problems--too much unnecessary information that is totally irrelevant to the solution.)

My wife and I have done several escape rooms in the Spartanburg, SC area, and have always enjoyed them. I found out about this place on our recent vacation to Chattanooga, and we decided to give it a try. It was billed as an immersive experience, and it truly was. We were surprised by the scope of the adventure. One problem we've had in past experiences are misplaced items in the rooms, but that was not an issue in this escape room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was set up as it should have been. We had a wonderful time, and we highly recommend Escape Experience Chattanooga to anyone looking to spend an hour working together and using your brain.
