Overview

For over 50 years, NOC has been guiding guests on the Chattooga River. NOC's founder, Payson Kennedy was a stunt double in the movie Deliverance, filmed on the Chattooga River.

That Chattooga is a Wild and Scenic River, protected by the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1974, which provides the southeast most wilderness rafting trip.

This was a perfect day - the guides were great and the river was beautiful. This was our first ever rafting trip and the guide made us feel comfortable and prepared.

I've been rafting with NOC since I was a scout in the late 1980s. This is the third summer my scout troop has rafted with NOC. Every year has been so much fun. This is great company with great guides who make the trip fun and safe.
