All groups are kept to 12 guests to ensure easier navigation of the market, more tastings, and a better platform to ask questions and interact with the group. This is a walking tour that does require a moderate amount of physical fitness due to distance, small hills, stairs and cobblestone terrain.

Meeting Location: is 1600 First Ave outside of Simply Seattle. We meet on the street. Chef will be wearing a chef coat
Gratuities (optional) are not included in the price
Please arrive 10 minutes early. Once the tour leaves the starting point we cannot catch you up as it is a moving tour and guides choose their own routes.
Eat Seattle is permitted and licensed by the Pike Place Market PDA to operate tours in the Pike Place Historical District. The PDA requires any business or person conducting tours within it’s properties and in the public areas of the historical district to be pre-approved and to have a license for this activity.
There is a paid parking garage located at 1531 Western Ave. If you require parking, leave lots of extra time. The lot could be closed due to over capacity in the Summer. We don't recommend driving for this reason..
In the event of a non-appearance for any reason, we regret to inform you that rescheduling or refunding will not be feasible.

Visit this historical market by tasting small bites through of a variety of different vendors.

Simply Seattle

We meet outside of Simply Seattle located at 1600 First Ave. That's First Ave and Pine Street. The tour leaves right on time and we won't be able to catch you up if you're late. If you're driving, leave lots of extra time to park.

Chukar Cherries

These delicious chocolate covered cherries are a special Northwest treat * please note that this is not on all tours

Had such a good time. Our tour was hosted by Eric. It was the best way to kick off our weekend trip. A great way to check out many places on our itinerary, in VIP style. Eric had a great sense of humor and clearly knew his stuff, we learned a whole lot about all the places we visited and food we got to snack on. He also gave us awesome recommendations. Go team Eric!!

What a great experience! My wife and I were in town for our honeymoon and took the market tour with Chef Eric. We e done a food tour before in Little Havana, Miami. This market tour is top notch, among the very best. Chef Eric picks all the best spots and provided lots of insights and education as part of his tour, going as deep as you care to about food science, preparation, and history of the region, the city, and the market. We learned so much, tasted so many yummy foods and tasty treats. A great orientation to all the best the market and surrounding businesses have to offer. We can’t wait to return! Jessica was our tour guide and did an excellent job. The whole Pike Market will be memorable and one of our favorite foods was the Pike Market Chowder.
