This is so much more than a food tour! My family and I signed up for the Italian Market food tour. What we got was a history lesson of Italian immigrants arriving in Philly, explaining the difference between the northern and southern Italians; an art tour of murals by the Magic Garden artist, Isaiah Zagar; cooking tips for various foods from our chef guide; and of course lots of food tastings. There were six food stops so by the end we felt we had a real taste of the food market area. I highly recommend this tour with Chef Jackie!

Fantastic and fun food tour of the Italian Market. I grew up in Philly and I took the tour twice when friends and family visited. Both times were great, and I learned so much about food and Philly! Jacquie knows everybody in the Italian Market and is very knowledgeable and super fun! Highly recommend!

We had a lot of fun sharing "growing up Italian" stories with Chef Jackie. She took us to a bakery and two restaurants. All 3 were great. One of the restaurants was already a favorite of ours and the other was unknown to us but is now a "must return". The bakery was a South Philly classic that we had heard of but had never gone to. Glad we did!
