Overview

There’s never been a better time to be a beer drinker — and Chicago, with its thriving brewery scene and many destination-worthy beer bars, is the perfect city for suds lovers. Visit three of its craft breweries on this all-inclusive, 3.5-4hour tour, where you’ll get to tour one brewery production facility and enjoy copious samples of local brews. To keep things interesting, you’ll travel in a barrel-shaped bus. Morning and evening departure times are both available.

What To Expect

The Barrel Run

We pick-up across the street from the Rainforest Cafe. Come up to The Barrel Bus and our Guide will get you checked-in.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

The Barrel Run was an fun and unique experience. The vehicle was classy and a nice ride. We came with a large group and the host was very professional to all of us. The tours were stellar and informative. We had a great time and will do it again.

I actually believe 100.00$/ per person - food or hors d’oeuvres should have been provided with craft beers.

Thank you for your feedback Cynthia. While we do not include food during the tour, guests are able to purchase appetizers if they desire. The ticket price includes tax on admission, 45-55oz of craft beer, tax and gratuity for the breweries, a production tour, and a 3.5hr guided experience on a custom engineered Barrel Bus. We would have to increase the ticket price in order to incorporate a meal. Since most of our guests have lunch / dinner arrangements after the tour, we prefer to keep the tour cost down and allow guests to purchase snacks if desired. Fun ride & brewery experience! Roomy & innovative vehicle. Our driver (Ted) delivered some good stories about Chicago and prohibition. We stopped at 3 small breweries and sample tastings were served. There was enough time to order apps.
