Our annul conference which returns to Chicago every few years has cruised on the Spirit of Chicago several times. It is a great corporate event venue. We have done it in both great weather and rainy weather and have always had a great time. I highly recommend the cruise.

We were in Chicago over the cold spell in February. When we joined the cruise we got the news that since the lake was frozen, we wouldn’t be leaving the dock which was disappointing but understandable. As recompense we had a free bar which was a really lovely touch and also replacement cruise tickets to take at another time within the year. I think this is extraordinary customer service and makes me feel very positive towards this company - it is highly reputable, so don’t hesitate to book if a dinner cruise is something that interests you. We were close to Valentine’s Day so the ladies all got roses. I can’t comment on the tour itself as we didn’t get onto the lake but the food, music and atmosphere on the boat were superb. We had a truly wonderful and memorable evening. The guests were all up for some fun and the dancing was very entertaining. Many thanks, Spirit of Chicago!

We made our reservation months ago and brought our granddaughter to chicago for her 10th bday celebration and the dinner cruise was going to be a highlight. We got all dressed up, took an uber to the Navy Pier and at the kiosk to pick up our tickets were told that our cruise was canceled and Odyssey was doing it instead. However, Spirit of Chicago failed to notify us, or worse transfer our reservation or money to Odyssey. They had no room for us on the boat... leaving us to take another uber back to the hotel and do something different for the evening we were so looking forward to. So far, Viator has not refunded our money we paid for the 3 of us. VERY DISAPPOINTED....
