This is a great tour, especially for new comers to Chicago. It gave a lot of history and took us to iconic places. I would not necessarily rave about all the food, so if your a true foodie, you might be disappointed. Still, it was great to see these famous places that
Chicago is known for and our tour guide was awesome and full of knowledge and advice!
The tour guide was the worst I have had in about 20 culinary tours across the US and Europe. Sorry... she was a nice girl but totally introverted and frankly terrible at this job.
Tour guides have to be engaging, usually funny, and likeable. 3 qualities we did not get in our guide. Frankly, if you get a different guide the tour is probably quite good. The food was typical Chicago fair hot dog, deep dish, cupcake, etc. If there wasn't food to eat we probably would have just wandered off and enjoyed the city on our own.
Nothing personal, seemed like a nice girl. Not a good choice for a tour guide.
Really good tour! Our guide was fun and knew Chicago well. I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes a walk and loves to eat.
