Overview

We offer small group guided guided kayak trips on this pristine mountain lake near Haines, Alaska. Our guides all undergo rigorous in house safety training along with Wilderness First Aid training. In addition our guides have degrees and or in depth knowledge in Zoology, Biology and Natural history and live in the community of Haines. This gives our guides the unique ability to share with you not only the natural beauty of the area but the unique lifestyle we live here in this little fishing town of Haines, at the northern most point of the inside passage.

I worked with Joe at SEAK for a sea kayaking trip while in Haines with friends. He was extremely friendly and helpful with planning all logistics of our trip. SEAK provided all necessary gear (all in great condition!). He even allowed us to use the yard of SEAK to reshuffle our duffel bags post-trip. I definitely recommend this high quality outfitter!

Many thanks to Joe for helping us arrange our Chilkoot Lake Kayaking trip! We had a fantastic time with Rich, our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide! The weather was perfect, and we saw bears, eagles and salmon all while enjoying the beauty of the lake and it’s surroundings!!

Joe, our guide and owner made this trip special for us. This was the most peaceful kayaking trip and one of the most beautiful places we have ever kayaked. Salmon were swimming nearby, eagles were soaring. Breathtaking.
