Sean was fantastic. A wealth of knowledge with a great delivery. He was also super-efficient. I learned so much more than I expected. Highly recommended if you are interested in more than a superficial tour.
It was a fun tour, and we learned a lot that we had not heard before. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained things well.
Wow - this tour was fantastic! Though we initially only wanted the generic cruise tour of the statue and Ellis, they were all sold out, so we had to go the extra cost of booking this small group tour. And were we glad that we did! Our tour guide, Patrick, was very animated, with a wealth of knowledge and a bucket of fun! He knew just where we should stand on each ferry to get the best perspective on the sites, which little doors to walk in to avoid the congestion, and he knew how to keep the group together and engaged. Even my 30-year-old on, who has worked in Manhattan for 8 years now and has become very sophistiated - and who moaned and groaned when he initially heard the tour was going to be 4 hours long - was enthralled and captivated. The tour starts in Castle Clinton in Battery Park, and ends up on Ellis Island where you are free to do additional touring once the guide's job is over. We stayed for an additional half hour or so to look around, then headed back on the ferry. Great adventure out for us old folks in New York with our dear son, and finally go to cross Ellis Island off our bucket list!
