Ali our tour guide knew so much about Cincinnati and the area it was entertaining and enjoyable. We met at Washington park and talked about the area and had a cold chili noddle dish, to our surprise it was not Chili with noddles like you think of Cincinnati but actually noodles with chili spices and great flavor. We watched the kids play in the water fountains and on the splash pad then continued to our next stop. We stopped at poke hut and had cooked pork in a steamed bun. Another nice surprise from a poke restaurant where I thought most of their meats were raw and sushi style. The Belgium restaurant has a great waffle and a special German treat only available in Cincinnati. We had a great street taco, a sweet macaron cocktails and desert at Aladdin. So many other great restaurants we will check out in the future. Ali was entertaining, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, the history of the city. We learned so much and felt like we made a new friend.

Thanks Beth for sharing such a detailed review. Ali loves sharing her knowledge of the city and our wonderful local restaurants. Over the Rhine has an abundance of shops, bars, street art and eateries. Washington Park is the perfect starting point. I'm happy you enjoyed the experience and Ali will be thrilled to see your review!

If you get the opportunity to schedule a tour (our culture and wine Over the Rhine) was delightful. In the three + hours we learned so much about the History and German influence of Cincinnati while walking and talking AND casually enjoying great tasting food and drink. Highly recommend this tour. It was like getting a private tour from a friend as we walked through the streets and Laura pointed out various buildings, and showed some historical photos and then we’d stop in a restaurant to sample some of their highlights. We learned so much and made the rest of our stay even more enjoyable as she gave us lots of tips for our stay. Highly recommend!

Thank you for such a lovely review. The Wine and Dine evening Tour provides a relaxing stroll through a charming restored German neighborhood. There are ample restaurants, shops, street murals and beautiful 18th century buildings to see. Sometimes we have as many as eight guests and other times, we host two guests and it provides a more intimate experience. Thank you for the high recommendation.
