Definitely recommend this to other travellers- good value. The local tour guide was excellent, providing us with lots of details to what we were seeing. Loads of photo opps for the city skyline and the statue of liberty. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The lines were long. Make sure to dress in layers as it was chilly and windy on the river.

Went on the 7 _ 9 cruise and it was probably best trip in new york. Paid for vip which was worth it. No queing and your own front of the boat area with waiter service. Would happily go again on the trip.

A great way to see NYC at night. Harbor Lights tour (2 hours from pier 83) was led a very informative and local tour guide, beautiful sites and sounds of NYC. Easy access from 42nd St subway ( about a 10 minute walk on 42nd St. to 12th Ave. to pier 83). We actually found a pretty decent place for dinner on 42nd and 9th Ave (and got away from all the craziness of 42nd and seventh and eighth Avenues).
