I have gone on this cruise four times in the last 15 years. My recent experience, 9/24/2022 was so beautiful, but disappointing at the same time. Why? Because we arrived at 6:00pm (an hour early), and got great seats outside on the 2nd floor by the back rails. The people who got there just in the Knick of time, decided to all come up there too and stand right in front of the rest of us taking pictures with no regard for the rest of us. Tony, the “guide” even mentioned to others not to do this, but to no avail because it wasn’t enforced. So aggravating! The right thing to do is to tell people on the microphone to NOT do this and to take a seat. If you didn’t arrive to sit in the seats you wanted, the ones who did, shouldn’t have to pay. It’s really rude. If the boat was over-booked, then you should let people know so we don’t come. The scenery is so gorgeous and for the most part it’s still worth it because of this. But I would suggest you not allow people to stand in front of those who got there first, since it does say, “get there early; first come first serve basis.
