David was an amazing tourguide. The sunset was beautiful and the sights even more so. I had a great time

The tour was to begin at 7:00 pm and it actually began a little before 6:30 pm which was not fair to those who might have arrived at 6:30. Thankfully, we got there in plenty of time and got seated. Also, we found it strikingly interesting that Harlem was not included in the tour-a Big Miss for many who don’t connect Harlem with Manhattan. Otherwise, the tour was excellent. It is a night cruise and should take place as such. Again, it ended at night and that was GREAT! other than my small critique, the tour was great!

Arrived early as suggested to find that we were rammed on a full boat where the only option was to sit below with dirty windows to try to view everything. Four times asked if another boat was going and two staff seemed unsure and another two lied and said no all looking rather shifty and demanding to know who told us there might be another boat. We later saw another boat which would have been the 7pm boat we arrived early for. We had been told we would have to pay again if we got off the boat to join the queue again. Rude and dismissive. Freezing cold with aircon and the subways were cleaner than this boat. When the boat moved we could go to small outside area which was rammed three deep with people trying to get photos, we could not go together as a family as we would have lost our seats. We could not hear the commentary well enough the gather information about anything we were seeing or trying to see from the window size limitations given sone of our seating was not next to the windows. Some of the viewing windows were blown so couldn’t even see out (see photo of two misty windows). This very unpleasant experience set us back €176 as a family of four: I would have paid to get off. Two hours is a long time when you are freezing and cannot hear anything interesting nor view half of the sights, complete waste of money and time, this was the costliest and yet the worst thing we have done in our four days in New York. When we did venture upstairs to stand briefly for a view and risked losing our seats downstairs it was warm with fab views, a completely different experience.
