We booked our tour online the night before, and liked the flexible options for start times. When we arrived at rhe recommended time (15 minutes before the tour), we learned that our tour guide had called in sick and a replacement was actively being worked on. It so happened that my husband and I were the only people booked for our tour and we had no schedule so we happily hung out and waited for an update. The manager (Louis) came over to tell us that he would personally be taking us on the tour since our guide called in. He asked for a few minutes to get ready and we told him no problem because we were flexible. People, can I just tell you how AMAZING if a tour we had with Louis?!?! We ended up starting only a few minutes "late," and he is a history lover from the area so was full of random tidbits that may or may not have been part of the "scheduled" tour. He even made some great recommendations for local eats and things to do around town. I know how frustrating it can sometimes be when a curveball is thrown your way but he and we just rolled with it and it was a great afternoon! I would like to think that Louis has trained all of his guides to do a great job like him so would definitely recommend the walking tour if you're up for it!

My tour guide was top notch from start to finish. She was very knowledgable and had a congenial personality. She took the time to engage the customer, invited questions, and provided details at each point of interest. She kept a comfortable pace and was mindful of customer comfort by stopping in shady spots to talk about each location.
