What To Expect

Fort East Martello Museum

The ghost tour includes a 60-minute guided ghost tour followed by 60 minutes of hunting ghosts on your own. The experience takes place inside Key West's haunted Fort East Martello Museum where you will learn the haunted history of the Civil War fort and meet the infamous Robert the Doll. The first 40 minutes of the tour are on foot. Short walks between rooms at an easy pace followed by a 20-minute sitdown with Robert the Doll. After the guided hour, VIP ticket holders have an hour to hunt ghosts on their own with access to the former Yellow Fever hospital (VIP exclusive). The VIP Experience includes the use of ghost-hunting equipment like K-2 Meters, spirit dowsing rods, spirit boxes, and trigger objects. There is time at the end to take photos with Robert the Doll if you are feeling brave.

A very fun experience! We are skeptics about paranormal things, and still are, but we find it fun to visit haunted places and learn about strange happenings. The tour guide was super friendly and engaging and fun.

We booked this excursion and flew to Key West for it. They cancelled but I didn't find out until we were standing in an empty parking lot at 9pm and I called Viator. Very unprofessional and cost us a great deal of money.

There must be some crossed wires here, as we messaged you through TripAdvisor/Viator on October 19th that we could not operate a tour on New Year's Eve, as the museum scheduled their annual fundraiser that evening. We offered you the option of attending the night before or after or receiving a refund. When we communicated by phone, you said the other nights wouldn't work and asked for a refund, which we promptly issued. If you check your Viator/TripAdvisor records, you will see that the full refund was processed on October 20th at 10:10 am. Again, I'm so sorry this happened to you. Please let me know when you are back in Key West, and I'd be happy to have you on the experience as our guests. And for the best communications, please contact us directly. TripAdvisor/Viator doesn't share your email with us, so all messages go through their system. I hope we get to see you in the future.

Great paranormal experience overall pack3d with history and of course a viewing of Robert the doll! Dan did a great job hosting our group and I would definitely reccomend this for anyone interested in local history and the paranormal!
