We had a great guide with Roger. He was very knowledgeable with Colorado Springs and the food. The Irish Pub, hands down was our favorite. Delicious food and the bar manager came over and gave us a very nice talk about the history of the pub. We also had a "surprise stop" at the Rabbit Hole and enjoyed delicious carrot cake, again the manager told us stories about the history of the restaurant. Poor Richard's was a complete let down. When we arrived, our pizza was already sitting outside and no one was around to service it. Roger quickly started handing the pizza out but no one from the restaurant seemed to care that we were there. The pizza was only OK, probably because it was already cold. The ramen noodle restaurant didn't seem like it belonged on the tour at all. We sat in a back room on what I would describe as cafeteria tables. The manager was nice but the food was just mediocre. When we walked by later on, the place was pretty empty and chairs were already put up on the tables. Maybe the restaurant was having a bad day but it does not seem to compare to the Irish Pub or the Rabbit Hole. We may have been expecting too much but we have been on other food tours and when we compare them, this one comes up a little short. Again, Roger did a great job and was very kind and informative.

We stopped at 6 places. The food at each was good and even appealed to my picky teen boy. I was not disappointed with the exception of the pizza place we stopped. I believe it was Poor Richards. It should have not been on the tour as it was mediocre at best. We had several boxes of pizza left over that they boxed up for someone to take. Our guide was very nice and trying hard but some of the information he used to fill time was a little excessive and meandering and lost peoples attention. The portions were pretty big so I would take that into consideration as most of us were getting full by the 3rd stop. We were starving when we started the tour but I recommend eating half. I think the tour is good and worth taking but should be revised in making it a little shorter so time filling was not necessary and perhaps smaller portions.

Hi there, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your Tour Leader and the food served on your tour! Because we want to make sure no one leaves hungry, we do serve generous portions. This is something we state up front, and therefore we encourage people to come hungry. Since your review, we did have an opportunity to talk with you on the phone about your experience. We credited you back a portion of your ticket fee per your request. As we have expressed, we are disappointed that we didn’t get high marks on the tour you took. Hopefully we have another opportunity to prove ourselves again. Kind Regards, Samantha

We hit five of the local restaurants, the food was fabulous. Our group of four loved all the food we tasted. Portions were more generous then expected so go a little hungry. Noel did an incredible job even when we were caught in a downpour before our last stop. We laughed, a lot. Learned some history on our tour and about the art scattered throughout the city. We are now addicted to food tours :-) thank you Noel
