Overview

Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

Guides were terrific. Desk clerks were great. Picture people were fantastic. The equipment was well kept. The waiting area was comfortable and the picture purchase process was easy! When we were accidentally sent the wrong pictures, they were quick to correct it! Oh, and for those of us who forget cash to tip -- the guides have a Venmo! :) Overall great experience!

This was an incredible experience for our family. I can't recommend Downstream Adventures highly enough. They made the entire experience so much fun. All of the guides are very experienced. Our guide Kevin made sure that we were safe and that we had fun. He educated us on the river and the risks that were in front of us. We aren't experienced rafters, but were able to navigate the intermediate expedition without any problems thanks to his help. This is the one you one to book. They'll make sure you and your family are safe and that you create memories you'll never forget. Also, the photos they take while you are rafting are worth buying.

I have rafted in Colorado rivers before, but this was truely the most exciting and Mark (ie Markie Mark) kept us strong and "crushing " the Level 4s that just kept coming! Have gone much farther drives from Denver for rafting but none this exciting! The staff and greeters in the office are so completely on top of getting the people in and on to the adventure!!
