Overview

Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

😎what a ride!!! So much fun!! These guys were amazing. All the guides were experienced and knew the river so no crazy surprises!! Great time then up to Georgetown for burgers and beer!!😎 pretty awesome day!!! Thanks Sam (our guide) for keeping us in line😎

This was my second trip in 2 weeks, the staff is pretty easy going, they make sure you understand the water. Today we had Mark (Marky E Mark) he made us left and made sure we were soaking wet by the end. I will continue to book through Downstream Adventures as the team seems to really LOVE what they do and make you Love it even more. Some great call outs- Mark our amazing guide, made sure we were not surprised by anything. Kurt the team leader for the great instructions this week and last. And of course, Mother Nature, for providing us the most amazing views and weather!

Chaz was a great guide. I took my senior mother on the intermediate trip for her first time ever rafting experience and she loved it. Chaz made sure to speak loud enough for her to hear with out her hearing aids. Can’t wait to come again and hit the advanced trip.
