Clear Creek Intermediate Whitewater Rafting near Denver

Overview
Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

Every step taken to get out on the water was seamless and enjoyable thanks to all the efforts of the crew at DSA!!! We had your typical mercurial drawbacks and breakdowns/breakthroughs while rallying our troops to book our trip. One friend opted in and out bringing us from 4 to 5 to 4. As frustrated as I felt; Jonathan and I am sorry to say another gentleman whose name I forget to recall, were not only pleasant and understanding in securing my reservation, but most importantly efficient in solving our common problem. Markie Mark was gracious enough to fit us into his BUSY pants dropping schedule (See: "Clueless")...Bahahaha. Sincerely. He was excellent. Clear and in good humor with instruction. He engaged my interest and questions in the process of rafting and certification. We even realized he lives half an hour away from me in the Ocoee Valley of TN/WesternNC!!! And a friend is always the best souvenir... So thank you, Downstream Adventures for such an amazing trip. My only complaint was that it was over far too quickly--these are 1st World problems...!!! Until then, Make America WET again. XOXOneLove, StevenZ and Murphy>

We booked a 9 person party pretty far in advance for my brothers bachelor party and weā€™re promised 2 separate rafts. I understand a 6 person raft is a standard so I was stoked they would do a 4 and a 5. Upon gearing up Abby told us very directly that ā€œThatā€™s not possible.ā€ Bullsh**tt, itā€™s definitely possible and was the reason we booked. So now you got a split group on 2 rafts (6 and 3) and the three of us were on overloaded with 7 people on our raftone of which who was annoying and made me uncomfortable. All in all the rapids were good, not anything crazy but I guess just enough for the thrill. 3 stars cause I donā€™t wanna thrash your rating but come on guys, thatā€™s a pretty lame move. No tip.
