CLEAR KAYAKS! We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. The paddle will last about 1.5 hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way.

What To Expect

Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge

The Refuge is home to hundreds of manatees + friendly dolphins so keep your eyes peeled! Our guides will lead you to the best spots to view wildlife up close. The Refuge also contains over 1000 species of plants, 117 species of fish, 68 amphibians and reptiles, 330 birds, and 31 mammal species, of which at least 14 species are listed as endangered by the state of Florida or by the US federal government. There’s no shortage of wildlife!

Dolphins, manatees, and gators, oh my! We had an absolute blast on the get up and go kayak tour!! Within minutes of arriving we saw dolphins before even getting in the kayaks and it just kept getting better! Our tour guide, Evelyn, was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She took us to a cove where there were at least 15 manatees (probably more) floating around in this one area. It was absolutely amazing!! And to top it off, we had a gator cross our path!! It was an unforgettable experience that the whole family got to enjoy. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Evelyn!!

We drove from Orlando 40 minutes away. The guide Bridgette was excellent she helped with everyone wether experienced or not

The whole experience was magical ! We saw dolphins and gators and crabs -and they were glowing !!! I couldn’t stop looking through the kayak, it was like gliding through the Milky Way. Coat yourself in bug spray under your clothes and wear long sleeves / pants.
