Clear Kayak Paddle Tour at Sand Harbor

Overview

All of our guides are Lifeguard Certified with the American Red Cross and guests may choose to swim on our tours ;-)

We provide Light Weight Fully Carbon Fiber Paddles for enhanced user experience.

During our tour you will get the chance to encounter Lake Tahoe from a whole new perspective. We will spend 2 hours on the lake exploring the beautiful sandy eastern shoreline and viewing some of the most photographed and iconic granite boulders on the lake.

On warmer days we encourage guests to swim and cool off in Lake Tahoes mostly sub 70 degree water. There is also an option to jump off Bonzai Rocks into the water for a more thrilling adventure. You will be asked to sign a waiver before your tour. Please jump at your own risk!

What To Expect

Sand Harbor

Meet at our shop location in Incline Village to get fitted with life jackets and listen to a quick safety talk. We will leave our shop 15 minutes later and then take a 15 minute shuttle along the pristine shoreline of North Lake Tahoe to Sand Harbor. At Sand Harbor, you will be greeted by your tour guide. You will paddle with your tour guide for 2 hours. Experience the true beauty of The Lake with the best views of picturesque landscapes and clear water. After your tour take about 15 minutes to enjoy the beach or use the restrooms and then we will shuttle back to our shop for the remaining 15 minutes of the tour.

Lake Tahoe Area

We paddle along Lake Tahoe’s East Shore, View clear water with large boulders in see through kayaks. Bonsai rock and other picturesque features ;)

The view was AMAZING! I love how the clear kayak allowed me to see the beautiful underwater world. The wter was crystal clear like jelly. Our guide was super nice and helpful. They also helped us dress up to stay warm. Overall 10/10!

Our clear kayak tour with Steve was amazing!! We had the most incredible experience. We had beautiful weather, the water was so calm and we had the lake to ourselves! Steve was a great guide! Knowledgeable , patient and fun and went above and beyond to give us the best experience and got some amazing shots!! The clear kayaks were very cool being able to see underneath us. Absolutely breathtaking!!

I wondered if the clear thing was anything special, but it was absolutely cool and unique. I loved being able to see everything below. Guide and company were great to work with and made everything comfortable. Do it!
