Our tour with Taylor in Jupiter was so much fun, she took us to areas we never would have known existed and showed us fish/wildlife we had never seen before. Definitely will be going again next time we are back in Jupiter!

We were very much looking forward to the clear Kayak tour that we scheduled. Getupandgo Kayak took the deposit days before the tour happened which is fine as long as the event took place. Unfortunately one of the people in our group hurt his back and needed to get checked out the day before our tour. I called the day before to reschedule or ask about a refund and left a message as it was after hours. Considering that our tour was at 9:00 am I wanted to be courteous so that they were not expecting us. I was called that morning at 8:20 am 40 minutes before the tour was to begin and was told that no refund or rescheduling could take place. I can understand that a refund may not be doable but we were offering to take the tour another day and were denied. In my opinion this is considered stealing and not being cooperative. I will say that a few days later we received a refund for one member in our 5 person group. This was only done after my GF posted a review and the refund was sent shortly after that. A good business practice would be to meet halfway or offer a rescheduling for the tour. Being greedy is never good for a business and doing the right thing is a better way to go. I hope that the $300 that you kept helps you sleep well at night. Those of you reading this review can appreciate the customers perspective and agree that rescheduling would be an acceptable solution.

We are so sorry that you were unable to make your scheduled tour. I received your message at 8am after your call at 11 pm the night before. We do have a 48 hour cancellation policy and with only 1 hour notice, we can’t possibly resell your seats. When we spoke, I expressed that we hoped that at least the 4 of you could make it out with us. You said you’d call me back after talking with your group and instead of keeping your scheduled tour time, wanted to come out the following day. Your kayaks were all set up for you as scheduled and we truly hoped the four of you would be paddling with us. I’m sorry that the fifth person was hurt but we still have a cancellation policy that was agreed upon. I would have gladly refunded that person with proof of hospitalization. Because I felt bad that you all decided not to join us, I went ahead and refunded that person anyhow. This was done that morning and not after I saw a review days later. We are in business to create fun and unique memories and not to take anyones money without wanting to provide that service. If the 4 of you had decided to make your scheduled tour, I’m sure you would have enjoyed yourselves! We are truly sorry that we didn’t get to paddle with you.

What an amazing time! This was our 2nd year taking this tour and one our family will continue to do! Taylor and Dustin were amazing guides and so helpful and fun! The tour was very relaxing and one tailored to any age group or fitness level. We even got to see a pair of dolphins! This is definitely an experience we will remember and one we surely will do again! Thank you Taylor & Dustin!
