When we arrived, we searched for two people working. When we found the person under the tent, she was extremely rude and said I needed to talk with another guy. This guy was equally rude and annoyed we showed up early due to our driver needing to leave. Later, a small mix-up turned into a giant scream fest and a denial of the trip and kept $400. My teens (that have never been in trouble a day in their life) and two young adults were confused when no one showed to give directions and thought they could paddle right off the shore (not in boat channel) in the lagoon area like other paddle board people were doing. This turned into screaming and kicking everyone out of the tour. It was a simple misunderstanding and everyone tried to explain their thought process but no one would hear it. Ridiculous. A few minutes later the lightning alarm goes off and the next group was also denied. $400, no explanation to the group, no money returned.

The “simple misunderstanding “ was your teens stealing our kayaks prior to your tour time. Since you were told (by me) that tour time was 12:30 and you also signed up for a “guided tour” to begin at “12:30” there should have been no “mix up” . Thankfully, our friend who works renting paddleboards, was able to paddle out and tell them to return the kayaks to the beach. One of the stolen kayaks was almost in the middle of the boat channel which is not safe as well. We have never had guests been so unruly. There was also no “next group” as this was supposed to be “your group” if the kids had waited until their scheduled tour time. We did delay the tour for a half hour until the weather cleared and it was safe to venture out onto the water. We certainly wanted to provide the service that you signed up for but we do expect our guests to follow our guidelines as well.

We traveled with our children ages 4 and 7. Our tour guide Max was incredible. She had tremendous knowledge and enthusiasm! I would highly recommend!
