Join us on a guided eco-tour of Three Sisters Springs on ALL clear kayaks! Throughout the expedition, you will have the opportunity to view the beautiful nature and wildlife that we are known for including over 70 freshwater springs including the best spring, which is Three Sister Springs. You will have the opportunity to possibly view dolphins, manatees, pelicans, tarpon, turtles, otters, and many more of the local wildlife. There will be plenty of chances to take pictures on our guided tours and a picture package will be available for purchase at the end of your tour. Must be a minimum of 3 years of age to participate on this tour.

What To Expect

Three Sisters Springs

You will venture inside of the world famous Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River, Florida by clear kayak and see why travelers come from all over the world. The water is breathtaking and has so many different hues of blues and greens.

King's Bay Park

We start our tour at Kings Bay Park and you will venture through kings bay to Three Sisters Springs. Along the way you will be on the lookout for manatees, dolphins, pelicans, various fish and bird species, turtle, and much more wildlife and plant species.

Based on marketing from the tour operator, my wife and I made a reservation for a two hour guided tour to Three Sisters springs. The only good part was the staff were friendly and the guide was knowledgeable about local sights. What is not in the marketing material is that Manatees are only in Crystal river from mid November to late March so expecting to see them in June is probably not going to happen and while there none were present. Added to that disappointment was THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE kayaks possible. The other two couples in our group had the same comment. Marketing the kayaks as ALL CLEAR is also a stretch as they are scratched beyond seeing anything visible. The tour unnecessarily takes you to a dilapidated island and then on to the springs. It was a very hot day and while others were enjoying the stunningly beautiful cool and clean water of the springs, this particular tour operator does not allow departure from the kayak (no swimming) and further added to our disappointment. The spring is not accessible by land so arriving by water is the only way to enjoy it. My advice, save the overly expensive cost of this tour, rent your own kayak and have a great time at the springs. Buyer beware.

Wow! Evidently you were never taught how to read since it is clearly explained that there is no swimming on this tour AND it is not manatee season!!! Buyer beware?!?!?? Seriously?!?!? We are not criminal or misleading in any way. Instead of acting like a baby, maybe you could have said something at the end of your tour to us and we could have given you a refund or offered you a gift card for future use on a kayak. Instead you go on here to blast away on something that is clearly stated about the tour lol Also as far as uncomfortable kayaks, at least we give a 3” padded seat to sit on, the competitors in town don’t even offer that. You should have been grateful instead of how you feel. Lastly, for your own good, go to the beach, pet a dog, have an extra shot in your Margarita, watch a sunset, and most importantly…. SMILE….. Life’s not so bad that you can’t just be happy on the water in those beautiful springs. It’s not our fault that you couldn’t take the time to read about manatee season being in the winter, or because the weather was hot…. YOU CAME IN JUNE LOL !!!!!!

The guide was great and very knowledgeable. The tour was organized and left on time. However, the boats are not truly clear. They are older boats and are opaque, so you can’t actually see through the bottom of the boat. We were very disappointed that we were not allowed to get out of the boats and swim in the Three Sisters Springs during the 30 minutes that we were floating around there. It would have been better to have rented regular kayaks and gone out on our own so that we could get out and enjoy the water. The extra money paid for clear boats was a waste.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Our boats come out of the water to get resurfaced every couple of weeks, and you really can’t tell when the kayaks are in the water. We do hundreds of people every single week and they will get some use. As far as not swimming in the spring in our clear tour, that is advertised that there is no swimming on this tour. We do have a different tour if you wanted to swim but giving us a three star for that seems pretty unfair since it clearly states it, and we have a tour that you CAN swim on.
