What To Expect

Our exciting guide will bring you on a clear kayak adventure like none other! You'll weave your way through mangrove mazes and tunnels in search of local marine life such as manatees, dolphins, and more! We'll stop along the way at the white sand beaches that have many shells to search for you and take some great coastal view photos!

This was our second excursion and we enjoyed having a different guide (our first was great however!) because we learned different details with Jeff. Meaning each experience is unique. We brought 8 family members and 4 days later, our son went again. Needless to say, we love rowing through the beautiful mangroves and experiencing nature. Jeff, our guide, made sure we witnessed a beautiful sunset and voluntarily took photos of our family we will cherish forever. Thank you for everything! What a wonderful way to spend the holiday!

Mangrove tunnels and local history stories were the highlights. This was a wonderful morning tour in November with Jeff as our guide, each in our own kayak and with our small dog along. The mangrove experience was delightful and quite different from our previous boating in the backwaters and gulf. Saw dolphins and various water birds. Generally the water was too murky to see much deeper than about 2’ but the clear boats were cool nevertheless. Great beach stroll on the island. Learned a lot about the plants and wildlife. Best part was Jeff’s stories from the 60s in Everglade City and the Everglades. Enjoyed a great lunch afterwards at the Big Hickory Waterfront Grill across the bridge.

This was a relaxing and beautiful tour. Getting up close to the mangroves and navigating through them was really special. the water was clear in some areas, and it was really cool to see to the bottom through the clear kayak. The wildlife is so abundant and close; we saw a lot of birds up close and some dolphins in the gulf. Paul was a great guide. My mom has done this tour 3 times now and says it's different and special every time. Highly recommended!
