Super interesting and worth checking out. I keep looking for knew stuff to do in st Augustine and I'm sad it took me so long to come and visit.

Super cool! Get the audio guide! Worth the money! Plan to spend an hour because there is a lot to learn.

Creepy AF. Can't believe people not only endured this but those inflicting it were considered "sane"

It was definitely a different time back then. Punishments were much more brutal for such simple crimes. In current time if you steal a car (depending on specifics) it is possible to be in jail for a few weeks to a month. Back then if you stole a horse it was off with your head. I find today to be much more favorable. Either way I hope that you will come visit us again.
