This was a neat little place to explore. We spent about 2 hours here with kids ages 9 and 12. The ladies at the welcome center were so sweet and knowledgeable. They gave the kids a little scavenger hunt game that they had to find different things and got a small prize when it was competed. The butterfly house was so cool to walk through and see. We met one of the Marsh Tacky Horses they have on site and he was very friendly, even allowed the kids to pet him. Nice little gift shop in the main house that we were able to find some neat non beach shop type souvenirs. The entire thing is free to explore but they recommend a $5.00 donation. We went in late June one afternoon and it was empty.

We went with a group ranging from 9 to 80. It was pleasant. A small, interesting museum but a small exhibit space. Outside there was a nice walking trail. It was a pleasant morning but not amazing.

Marsh Tacky horse tour. Sue was a good and knowledgeable guide. The grounds were well kept. Trees and plants were labeled to identify what they were.
