First time to Williamsburg in about 30 years. Really enjoyed walking the old streets and seeing the restored village. I was there on a cold Sunday in February in the pandemic so few people there. The period clad staff did a wonderful job of making you feel welcome and safe. There were so few people there that the staff had plenty of time for conversations and historical insights. I wish more buildings had been open but it gives me a good excuse to return. One tip - don't miss the wonderful art museum complex. I only had time to visit the decorative arts museum but look forward to returning to see the folk art museum. Colonial Williamsburg is a great place for parents to teach their children about American history - I wish more would do so.

If you love history this is the place for you. The entire area is just beautiful. A little harder with all the restrictions but plenty of space to take nice long walks and admire the beauty around you. Little shops and restaurants. Lots of new things to learn.

Colonial Williamsburg is a must do if you come to Virginia. Doing everything that Colonial Williamsburg has to offer in one day is extremely hard unless you go during the non busy time. We barely got everything in and we were there from open to close. You could definitely spend 2 or 3 days here to really take every single thing in that it has to offer. Even for those whom aren't crazy about history, going here is enjoyable.
