The vast amount of history in this area is beyond amazing. We did the historic triangle and it was well worth the money. We spent four full days between the 3 areas.

My wife and I went to Colonial Williamsburg last November and last week (1st week in May). We only live 3 hours away. I happen to be a Veteran and they offer a very reasonable yearly pass for vets. The history of the restoration is fascinating and to be able to see the beautifully restored buildings was thrilling.

We decided to visit Colonial Williamsburg during the 2018 spring break and it turned out to be wonderful vacation for my family. Both the kids(6 and 4) enjoyed the trip and mainly the weather. The crowd was pretty good and there was no rush for any shows or rides. We took the Ox buggy ride which we all enjoyed . We stayed at the Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel so we had access to the shuttle and unlimited visit to the site for a week. The area is clean and well maintained.
