The whole experience was awesome! We flew with Brooks Owen who is a VERY competent pilot and has a great sense of humor. A perfect day with just the right amount of wind. Was my granddaughter's (and their parents) first balloon ride and was totally super. Strongly recommend it to any age.

Bucket list experience and 5 star at that. Met at designated hotel (we stayed across the freeway at a different one) and where greeted and got all the 'legal paperwork' signed and loaded into vans for about a 15 minute drive to the launch sight. Our pilot was Paul, who has been doing this for 20+ years, so he calmed my nerves with his knowledge and safety guidelines. Perfect weather for take off, flying and landing. So cool to be able to fly about Colorado Springs Airport and be ABOVE planes taking off and landing. Back on the ground, offered everyone water and orange juice and champagne, along with your flight certificate. And dropped back off at the hotel. HIGHLY recommend Rainbow Ryders.
