We had Troy as our pilot, and felt at ease with all of his experience. The ride itself was different than I thought it'd be. It was very smooth and other than slight breezes on your skin, you didn't feel the wind at all. It was very relaxing!! I would recommend bringing some water to drink on your flight and a camera for sure! Our landing was a little rough, but we had a great time and it's something we will always remember!

Thanks for your 5 star review and I'm so glad we were able to provide a great experience for you. It always has amazed me as well though how it doesn't matter how fast you're flying through the air but because you're going with the wind you don't feel much wind. It sounds like you also had what was potentially a faster landing as well. I have to be honest those are my favorite, anytime the balloon lands and drags it's a pretty sensational experience and way fun!

From start to finish our Hot Air Balloon ride was a once in a lifetime adventure. Great staff and pilot. The only recommendation is to try not to fly over the suburbs. (wind controls everything) Great Company, I would use them again.

Thanks for the kind words Karl! We are always glad when we can provide a once in a lifetime adventure and it sounds like we were able to do just that. While we do try our best to get some of the best flights possible as you mentioned they can be a little tricky sometimes when we are limited by the winds. We certainly hope you will fly with us again when we return for our next season!

My husband purchased a Groupon with Rainbow Ryders for our anniversary and it was AMAZING!!! It’s nice to see Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs from a different view! We even stayed in the air longer than schedule which was a PLUS! I would highly recommend this excursion.
