Fantastic tour. Weather was great, scenery was beautiful. The captain and crew were wonderful. The captain knew his information. We were fortunate to see many types of wildlife from sea lions, sea otters and different whales. I know that is not always the case but sure made the tour even more wonderful. The glacier is awesome. We were able to watch pieces fall into the water. Spectacular.

Wow, what a day! Our 6-hour cruise to Columbia Glacier with Stan Stephens was amazing from start to finish. The vessel was comfortable and well-maintained, offering panoramic views from the open deck and inside the cabin. The journey was a feast for the soul, graced with the astonishing beauty of Prince William Sound's turquoise waters and, of course, the grandeur of Columbia Glacier. We were fortunate to witness a tapestry of Alaskan wildlife. From the playful antics of sea otters and Dall’s porpoises to the majesty of humpback whales and bald eagles, each sighting felt like a gift. Not to forget the highlight—encountering numerous Steller sea lions lounging on an island, seemingly as interested in us as we were in them. Our captain and the crew were efficient and deeply knowledgeable, sharing intriguing facts and stories that enriched the experience. If you're planning an Alaska trip and considering a cruise, add Columbia Glacier to your 'must-visit' list and book with Stan Stephens Glacier & Wildlife Cruises. Read more about the experience on my blog, Travel Realizations.

Lived in Alaska my whole life, been to Valdez a a few times. But never have done this tour! Well worth it. The captain is great very knowledgeable. The boat is super safe plenty of space to roam. The lunch is ok but also effective for the environment. And pretty good. Plenty of whole life along the way and just an impressive trip!
