We had a wonderful time exploring the Corning Glass Museum. I use a walker and the museum, as well as the demonstrations, were all handicap accessible. There were plenty of benches available if we needed them. My friend and I signed up to fire torch a bead. My helper was named Squishy. He really made the experience a special one. My bead arrived in the mail today and I immediately knotted the cord and wore it out. I can't manage clasps any more so I needed something I could pull over my head... perfect! Thanks for a wonderful time. This wasn't my first trip and it won't be my last.

Thank you for being as excited about the Corning Museum of Glass as we are! Flameworking experiences at the Make Your Own Glass Studio are one of the most hands on experiences we offer! It is a little challenging, but definitely worth it! We look forward to your next visit.

Having collected a lot of glass items over the years this was heaven. There are different sections to browse, it is part art museum , part history museum. They have pieces that date back 3500 years to present. Lots of amazing items. My family and I also did the make your own glass item , this is an additional $$ but worth it. We were visiting a relative in Buffalo but was worth the drive to Corning.

Demonstrations were fabulous. All the exhibits are well done. The historical section is very interesting. The interacting spots are so educational, for all ages. I heard about this museum and checked on line sounded teally interesting, but I couldn’t set up a time. Then the Coronavirus hit, I knew it was closed, so I really wanted to go on the near future. Then we saw a series in tv, Blow away, that make us definitely buy the tickets. We loved it, hopefully come back soon.

Thank you for your determination for visiting the Corning Museum of Glass! We are happy to be open 7 days a week! Your visit coincided with Blown Away Season 2 on display. Later this month, we will have pieces from Blown Away Season 3 on display that you will be able to come back and enjoy hopefully soon!
