Even in the Time of COVID, the glass museum felt like a safe place to visit. The museum is beautiful and the collection of contemporary art as well as history is a joy to see. Thinking about human history is a good thing to do during this time. I would like to visit again because there is so much to see!

We did glass sanding and glass making class with kids, they made clocks and night lights, it was very well organized, especially given the constraints of COVID-19 situation. We loved overall experience, went back nxt day (admission tickets r good for 2 days) 'cause we did not get too see some galleries, were too tired. We all really enjoyed it, learned a lot about fiber optics and telescope mirrors, lenses in the "innovations"part, short videos were - well, short enough to keep kids interested and informative enough for adults to watch. My only regret was there were no tours due to COVID-19, I personally enjoy and remember museums better if I took a tour and someone knowledgeable explans me what exactly i m looking at, especially in the history of glass section, but oh well.

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to leave a review! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your two days spent exploring the wonderful world of glass! While we are not able to offer guided tours currently, we hope the descriptive labels and video content throughout our galleries helped to give you some of that extra information you enjoy. Spectacular display of historical and contemporary glass, very interesting glass-blowing demonstrations. Very helpful staff as well: after I returned home from my visit, I submitted a question about 19th-century French crystal and received two useful and detailed replies - at intervals because of the COVID pandemic but extremely helpful.
