2. Please exchange this ticket at the Country Music Hall of Fame Information Desk upon arrival. Please have this voucher and valid photo ID for will call pick up. Real stories that must be told - that’s what you'll experience at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Start your journey through country music history with Sing Me Back Home: The Journey Begins, Folk Roots to the 1960s. This exciting multi-layered experience tells the story of country music’s humble folk roots, and tracks its evolution into the 1960s. In 2010, the museum opened an all-new exhibit experience, expanding on Sing Me Back Home with Dreaming My Dreams: The Journey Continues, 1960s to the Present. This expansion included the addition of hundreds of new artifacts and multimedia elements that focus on country music’s recent history. The history comes to life with every era of country music represented.

My husband and I went on a weekend getaway! I am not a huge fan of country music however this place is so much more! Its American history, the Influential side of TV, the beauty and workmanship of the costumes and the amazing instruments! Go in liking country music..come out respecting the talent and showmanship ♥️♥️

My wife and I are NOT country music fans, so many of the exhibits and names meant nothing to us. there are a lot of costumes and instruments on display with placards telling you who they belonged to/where they were used. We added the RCA Studio B tour to our visit - this was quite disappointing. It was mostly the tour guide telling stories of various music people and playing clips of her favorite songs. Once arriving at the studio, we had to sit in the lobby area for 20 minutes of this 9and a short video), then quickly zipped past the other rooms and into the studio where everyone got to pose at the piano, we heard a few more clips of music, then right out the exit door and back on the bus. Total time for our visit, including the studio tour, was 2-1/2 hours. Of course true country music fans could spend many more hours reading about all the things on display.

So, I admit I was a little disappointed with this. There was a lot of neat mementos, probably more outfits worn by stars than anything. I did enjoy the video clips, wall of gold records, and hall of fame rotunda.
