Covered Wagon Adventure & BBQ

Overview
We are a true Eco Tour company in the state of California using wagons and mules to tour an ancient wilderness. You will have to go to Colorado or Montana in the summer to do something like this. A truly unique western experience. Where can you take a wagon tour pulled by mules into the desert wilderness in the world? No where but here!

We are an authentic and unique desert tour that showcases the natural flora and fauna of the Palm Springs Desert ecosystem. Our live entertainment is professional and very enjoyable. We offer optional dancing lessons, games and great food. The most total inclusive and immersive desert experience in the Coachella Valley. Adventurous, educational, beautiful, unique, fun, delicious, happy, Hallmark Movie is what we have been described on our reviews! The good old days are still here at Covered Wagons!

We took the covered wagon tour and BBQ. Very fun, guides were informative and the ride was relaxing and beautiful! The BBQ afterward was delicious and there was live music with dinner. We also had a chance to roast marshmallows over a campfire. Very nice evening!

My 7 year old daughter and I had the distinct pleasure of going on the Covered Wagon Adventure and BBQ. It was absolutely wonderful! We can't say enough great things about this tour/company. The guide we had was incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of this area of the dessert. We learned so much about the history of the region and wildlife too. He was very relatable to a young and old audience alike. We walked away retaining an unbelievable amount of information and my 7 year old even was explaining everything about the dessert climate, animals and plants to our 4 year old on our visit to Joshua Tree National Park the next day. Just make sure you bring a jacket/sweatshirt, the desert is windy and cold this time of year. The BBQ after was so fun too! We danced and really enjoyed the banjo player. Food was very good and the staff was truly lovely. Highly recommend!
