We did this tour with our two girls (7 and 9) last week and it was excellent, a true highlight of our trip. The tour is well-managed and the horses we rode all had good dispositions. The tour trail is a perfect length and experiencing this part of Arizona on horseback is fantastic - the hills, the views, the plant life, the wildlife - it was all great fun. Another review gave a warning that the trail is difficult or treacherous but I don't agree at all - it's entirely appropriate (the horses know the trail and they're the ones walking on it!) and not for a moment did I ever have any concern about my girls (in elementary school) riding on it. The guides were great and even gave special attention to our children, they loved it. Oh and after, the burgers (and beer) at Up the Creek restaurant just down the road were a perfect way to end the excursion.

We had a great experience riding horses with a great view on beautiful land! The staff were so kind and thoughtful, making sure we were riding near others in our group and stopping for a photo around the halfway mark. The road last road to get there is gravel, but we easily managed in our sedan. It was such a fun ride!!
