Guys if you thinking of renting a pontoon near Fort Walton beach or Destin FL DO NOT RENT from DESTINY WATER ADVENTURES! My family and I decided to do some fishing and visit crab island using a pontoon we rented from Destiny Water Adventures. We decided to go with an older boat for a $20 discount. That was a big mistake!!! We reserved the boat for 4 hrs and only used it for 1. As soon as we were out on the water the boat keeped bogging down when I tried to throttle down ( go faster). I figured that it would even itself out, however this didn’t happen! It just got worse and worse. So after about 30 mins. We decided to turn around and head back in. We called Destiny water adventures on the way in to let them know something was wrong and they said we’ll see you when you get back in. They didn’t even offer to send someone to help us. Once we got back in Eli, one of the owners said he was sorry and that he would take a look at the boat and call us. I didn’t receive a call, so I called them. He basically said that it was something that I was doing wrong because there was nothing wrong with the boat. He said that it seems to him that we were not having a good time and decided to come back in. Really after 30 mins? He also refused me a refund. He literally said if we decide to go again that he would give us a discount. Why would I want to go back out on one of his boats? DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They rent out broke down boats and then blame it on the driver even though they say that they are beginner friendly.

Easy to navigate and convenient. It was a private pontoon ride so husband was our lovely captain for the day. This was a last minute spontaneous plan due to sketchy weather the last few days here so this was booked 3 hours before our scheduled time. We randomly saw a dolphin and a sea turtle so that was exciting. In the shallow areas captain and kids snorkeled and found hermit crabs and saw little fishes swimming around. It was a fun experience for all of us i must say. This would definitely be on our must do list for our next family vacation.
