Craft Beer Tour in Lower Downtown Denver

Overview
Get out into one of Denver's 300 days of sunshine and head to the Historical Lower Downtown (LoDo) District of Denver. Learn how beer has obtained such a strong foothold in our state and discover for yourself why Denver has earned for itself the nickname "Napa Valley of Craft Beer."  Tours last between 2-3 hours so prepare to hang out with a local beer aficionado and see if you have what it takes to stand up to our beer. During the 4 stops on our tour you will go behind the scenes to learn brewing process, visit a brewpub that began a nationwide franchise, drink in the brewery founded by the governor, and hang out in the best craft beer bar in Denver. Our tour guides drink with the best so ask them any questions you may have. All challenges accepted! Book now to secure your spot; if the tour is full please call our contact phone number to see if we can add you in. Don't miss out on Denver's gateway to craft beer!

A walking tour of four microbreweries in the LoDo section of downtown Denver. Our tour had two tour guides as it was the first tour for a new guide and he had another guide to assist. Extensive walking – not for people who have difficulties with a quick pace or long distances. Guides provide brewery description and local color along the route. Starts at Great Divide brewery where you can order two samples before the tour starts. You then go into the brewery where a staff member gives a very extensive description of brewing with a tour of the brewery and you finish with a tasting of four beers. The remaining three breweries have two beer tastings and no staff interaction – only the tour guides. A fun way to spend about 3 hours. Recommended.

Steve was an awesome tour guide. Tons of info on each brewery, historic denver, and plenty of random facts. Walks between each brewery only lasted a couple minutes each. Free pint coupons to any of the 4 brewerys are also a plus.

Last weekend my friend and I were in town for the Great American Beer Festival and we decided to book a couple of spots on the Saturday Noon tour before the GABF session began (yes we know that's over 10 hours of drinking :)). As the other reviewers said, it was great. Looking back, it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Steve (the owner and guide) was a wealth of beer and historical knowledge and we managed to walk to four breweries (with a hangover I might add) and sample over 10 different beers (plus you get a free pint at the end which came in handy). Being beer nerds, we really liked the score cards they give you to rate the beers and take notes. Hands down, a really great deal and very fun!
