The Historic Stranahan House Museum is Fort Lauderdale’s oldest and most historically significant surviving structure. This is where it all began. The Stranahan House holds the story of a family, a house, and the birth of a city.

Las Olas Boulevard

Our tour guide will take you through Fort Lauderdale's most popular street, giving you historical references along the way. Most of the restaurants included are on this street.

My three sisters, niece, and I took this food tour after a 7 day cruise. We weren't leaving on our flight until 6:30pm so we wanted to fill our day. Howie did not disappoint. He was nice, funny, and entertaining. The restaurants we went to were tasty and we enjoyed our day. The area of Fort Lauderdale we visited was very pretty and the art show going on was a nice addition. I would recocommend.

The food tour was excellent! Las Olas area of Fort Lauderdale is a good lovers paradise. All the fine restaurants we sampled provided really delicious small bites! And our guide, Howie, was nothing short of amazing, sharing historical tidbits and a few jokes along the way. We’ve taken many food tours, both in the US and in Europe- this one is not to be missed!!

It was the perfect day for a food tour! Weather was gorgeous, the art festival was in full swing and we were just off a great cruise! The restaurants were excellent but the unexpected cherry on top was our guide, Howie! He was smart, funny, and engaging. He made us all feel really comfortable. His positivity and caring nature really shined and I’ll 100% do another tour with him when I return. Cheers to Howie for a wonderful day!
