John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza

One of the stops on the Welcome to Dallas Tour. This simple monument to the slain president was built on a plaza adjacent to the Texas School Book Depository building.

Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame

No trip to Fort Worth is complete without a visit. A museum for rodeo lovers that contains pictures, videos and memorabilia of the life-style.

Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District

Home to cowboys in addition to historic hotels and western-style shopping.

Our tour guide, Matt, was a fabulous fountain of knowledge who provided fantastic insight and entertainment! The first part of the tour, focusing on the history of Dallas, was great for seeing the main sights of this wonderful city. Along the way we learned about the unique history & culture of this city and state. The opportunity to stop and try some real Texas bbq was also great! The second part of the trip was a really enjoyable trip to the key sights relating to the JFK assassination. This provides remarkable insight and depth of the infamous event that you simply won’t get from documentaries. There were multiple highlights, including standing on the infamous “grassy knoll”, but the Oswald Rooming House was probably my favourite part. Again, Matt brought insight and knowledge of the places and events which would have been absent had I tried to visit these locations on my own. Highly recommended, if you only do one thing in Dallas - make sure it’s a Fun Tours tour!
