What a blah Tour, they should be more specific on the description of the tour online, we were not given a cup , we were only given a koozie, which is not that big of a deal but I wouldāve like for them to put that in the description. Our tour guide was nice, but not enthusiastic or energetic she did not seem to be in to ghost very much and her stories were superficial mainly about history facts. The bars were just ok, she didnāt even tell us the story of the first bar just said she doesnāt go in there because is haunted . I wouldāve also liked to have known that you canāt go in to the cemetery at night .

Hi there,
Thank you so much for taking a tour with us, and for your feedback. Iām sorry to hear you did not enjoy your Creepy Crawl experience. Your guide has received a large number of 5-star reviews lately--but we all have bad nights from time to time. We are operating this month for the first time since March. Three months with no tours has likely left us a little rusty, though I am hopeful we are through the readjustment period! Honestly, it is exceedingly challenging to give entertainment tours in a world rocked by a pandemic and much upheaval. The nightlife landscape has changed. We want to provide a little escapism and enlightenment to our guests and will continue to strive to do so! Our tours will remain history-heavy, as history colors and informs all the ghost stories and creepy tales.
Regarding the koozies: I updated our website to indicate that they will be given out instead of the cups back in March, when I switched to them. I have requested that TripAdvisor update our booking info to show we have moved to koozies as swag and they havenāt gotten around to it. Sorry. We gave out plastic cups for 20+ years and many just got tossed. I wanted to move to a souvenir with more value and usefulness. The koozies were custom-designed by a local illustrator and are of a patented design meant for to-go cups. They are way cooler than the cups, trust me.
Given that we are operating during a worldwide pandemic, many of our favorite neighborhood bars have chosen to remain closed or are closing early. We wish we could visit them too. Creepy Crawl guides are doing the best they can with whatās open + who can serve tour groups safely within the parameters of state regulations.
The cemetery was founded in 1753. Savannahās legendary early inhabitants are buried there. The city and the Daughters of the American Revolution choose to close the cemetery at sundown, which is typical of a historic cemetery. During the day tour groups may not visit the cemetery if they are larger than 6 people without a permit from the city. The cemetery has been closed much of the time for the past several weeks for installation of new lampposts + conservation. But it is typically open from 8am-8pmish. On the Creepy Crawl we spend plenty of time at the cemetery fence discussing the inhabitants and allowing for photos.
Thank you again for your business, and I hope you find other, more appealing tour options next time youāre in town.
