Overview

We are the ORIGINAL haunted pub crawl tour of Savannah's famed Historic District, operating nightly since 1996. Our home base is the famous Six Pence Pub, a notoriously haunted English-themed bar right in the middle of downtown Savannah. Our professional storyteller-guides have decades of combined experience sharing compelling tales of eerie happenings and ghost lore in Savannah. Our walk covers about 1.5 miles of Savannah's gloriously beautiful (and terribly haunted!) sidewalks and squares. As it is legal to drink on the street in Savannah, we breeze through a handful of sometimes-quirky, sometimes-historic bars for walking beverages. Note: drinks ARE NOT included in admission. Only guests 21+ may participate, making this an ADULTS-ONLY ghost tour!

Savannah's mask mandate has expired as of May 2021. The unvaccinated are encouraged to take precautions to ensure their personal safety. Tours will be kept to around 20 people (10 fewer than the city allows on walking tours.)

Your professional guide will introduce you to 4+ local bars, and many other haunted and spooky Savannah sites amidst our lush city squares and nightlife scene, all while you sip on a to-go drink! You will hear tales of local spirit activity at a variety of these locations while you take in the eerie beauty of Savannah after dark.

Our tour guide Tyler was great, she was engaging, energetic and informative. She took us to various locations, which were interesting historically but not all dealt with being haunted. Seeing more haunted houses would have been more interesting. The most disappointing aspect was the pub crawl. The Sixth Pence and Tap House staff were welcoming and friendly. O'Connell's Pub was nice, but too small to accommodate a tour of 20 people. The staff at McDonough's were not welcoming, they seemed bothered that we were there, even though their bar was not busy at all. The price of the tour and buying drinks made this an expensive tour with little bang for your buck.

It is regrettable that the staff at our chosen pubs were ornery, and I wish we could control that variable as well. We try to pick interesting bars that are happy to see us, but it doesn't always pan out! It's so nice to hear that you enjoyed Tyler--she is a gem. Our tour guide was great and we heard a lot of good ghost stories. What we didn't realize is that you only went to the bars to get a drink and use the restroom. The entire tour was telling ghost stories as you stood outside. Since it was August and the temp's were in the high 90's it was a very hot 2 1/2 hour tour. It would have been better if we could have heard the stories while sitting in the bars.

We had a great time with Tyler and give her a 5/5! We have been on a haunted tour one other time and I felt like we covered more ground and heard more stories. This time some of the info/stories were very similar, some were new but I would have loved to hear more and cover more ground. Sometimes it felt like we stayed in the pubs too long. I probably won't go again but I did prefer the smaller size of this compared to the larger regular tour we did last time. I would recommend this for anyone over 21 or with a group. On the regular tour you could of course carry your drink but there weren't drink or bathroom breaks. Glad we've experienced both.
