Karen was awesome. She was very knowledgeable of all different architecture styles and periods. She provided visual aids and other info throughout the tour

This was the best walking tour! It was part history lesson, part architecture tutorial and 100% engaging. Our guide, Guy, has lived in the area for many year. He added personal anecdotes and local color to the already fascinating history of New Orleans, and particularly the Marigny area. He had visual aids that helped us understand the geography, social migration and architecture of the region. And he had a very relaxed and engaging style. You can tell he really understands and loves his city. One of the best walking tours I’ve ever taken, of any city. I highly recommend for tourists and residents alike.

The architecture tour of the Marigny was fantastic. I really enjoyed exploring the Marigny which is an area I had not been to previously. Karen was our guide and she was a wealth of knowledge and the morning flew by. For a tour that is a little off the beaten track, this is highly recommended!
